ARE YOU HAVING FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC?
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rabbi Samuel L. Spector, Danny Burman, Jim Isaacson, or Teresa Bruce. We will do our very best to help you address those needs. Your community is here for you. We stand together during these difficult times, and Kol Ami will do what we can to help you through these challenges.
BOOK OF RUTH STUDY SESSION
Sunday, May 10th at 4:30 pm
with Rabbi Wenger and Faye Lincoln
We're now in Sefira, that sad period between Passover and Shavuot. At this time, many of us are inadvertently refraining from haircuts, live concerts, and the like. Why? Not only because Dr. Fauci warns us, but because, in the time of our Roman conquest, the earliest of Rabbis were stricken with a deadly plague. That plague was lifted on Shavuot.

PLEASE MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS ONLINE
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we are determined to reduce social and physical contact with each other and with any paper or products that could potentially become infected. Rather than making payments to Kol Ami with checks or cash, whenever possible please pay with your credit card or bank card.

Paying with your bank card is safe, withdraws funds directly from your bank account, and avoids interest charges—it’s just like paying by check or cash. If you need help navigating ShulCloud or working through this payment process, please contact the office at info@conkolami.org or 801-484-1501.
IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE, THE OFFICE IS CLOSED AND ALL PROGRAMMING IS BEING HELD REMOTELY
Staff and clergy will be answering questions regarding office, religious school, and preschool related matters via email. We will respond to you as soon as possible. Contacts can be found below:

If you have an urgent matter and you need to speak to someone in the office please call Tracy Plotkin, Administrative Assistant, at 773-474-2672. If prompted to leave a message, please include the spelling of your name and the best phone number to reach you.

If you have an emergency such as an unexpected hospitalization or loss of a loved one, please call our emergency line at 801-742-1501.

COVID-19 PROCEDURES
The Kol Ami Cemetery Association has some new, temporary, procedures in regards to the current pandemic. They can be found  here.
Congregation Kol Ami is just not the same without you but we know that we must keep our physical distance to ensure everyone's health. In the meantime, we want to support you in continuing your Jewish learning. Our Google classroom website, created by McGillis School Jewish Educator Liz Paige, will be updated each week with read aloud book links, activities and more.
Questions? Contact Cantor Wendy Bat-Sarah or Sarah Stein , Assistant Religious School Director.
"Coffee" with the Cantor

As our regularly scheduled school-year is winding down, the Cantor wants to make sure to touch base with all our our Religious School parents. Come talk about how you’re holding up, how your kids are doing, and how we can best serve you and your family. Please plan on attending at least one of these conversations. Bring a pastry, a cup of coffee, and a Thing That’s Working.

Wednesday, May 6th • 2:00 pm
Friday, May 8th • 9:00 am
