LMM Volunteers

From Crisis to Compassion:
Youth Services' View from the Frontlines
An LMM blog series chronicling the pandemic through the eyes of our own
social service heroes.

Tiffany Jackson, LMM Next Step
Administrative Assistant

LMM's frontline staff are first responders showing heroic efforts to provide basic needs to the most vulnerable in our community during an unprecedented time. The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down, but our heroes show up each day and make sure people we serve are cared for. We give our clients a voice. We also want you to hear ours.

In our blog series titled 'A View from the Frontlines', you'll meet our selfless staff who are responding to the worst health crisis of our lifetime, while putting the needs of others above their own. It isn't easy, but it's our new reality. Join us on our journey by seeing the view from LMM's frontlines. #LMMinThisTogether

National Foster Care Month

May is National Foster Care month, a time to honor those in the foster care community who help youth find permanent housing and meaningful connections, including LMM's Youth Services program. LMM Youth Services provides a vital resource in the community, as it allows for youth who are in between foster care homes to be placed in our youth shelter or semi-independent living programs.
