Bat-tastic! While I was in wonderful Austin, Texas meeting new people at the Overcoming Odds "Hear Me Now,"  I had a fun opportunity to take a kayak adventure and see what some Mexican Free-Tailed bats do at twilight. It was incredible! ( If you're interested you can read more here.)




I'll be participating in a Facebook live Q&A with the amazing  AdopteesON host Haley Radke on Saturday July 28th at 10am PST. Join us as we explore the topic of adoptees and healing. I will be sharing some healing strategies and answering your questions live in the chat. Haley and I will be talking about community, therapy, what works, what doesn't... and having an insightful and fun conversation, even as we explore deep topics. I can't wait to connect with you!

Support and a sense of community are SO important. I have been asked by many people: "When are you starting a group for adult adoptees?" I've also been contacted by adoptive parents seeking support: "We would love to be a part of a group who understands what we are experiencing." Groups are a great way to give and get support. 

I want you to know I'm listening!

I am starting a series of online support groups that will begin in early Fall. One group is for adult adoptees and the second for adoptive parents. Groups will meet online biweekly (every other week) for 12 weeks. Contact me if you are interested. I am limiting the adoptee group to 10 participants for each 12-week session. The adoptive parent group will also be limited to 10 individuals. This is an exciting opportunity to give and get support in the safety of a welcoming community.
