Friday, December 13th, 6 PM
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Offering our Morningside neighbors a safe and fun place to drop-off their kids, giving parents a well-deserved night out is what Parents Night Out is all about.  Our next PNO is scheduled for Friday, Dec.. 13th.

To make that happen, though, we REALLY need volunteers to help out. If you can spare one evening a month and enjoy working with kids, we could use your help!

We need people to:
  • Check in and register kids
  • Help in the nursery with the little ones
  • Work in the kitchen preparing and serving food
  • Organizing and leading games and activities
If you are able to help out, sign up on the Wall of Helping Hands in the main hallway or call the office.

Annual Giving Tree Project
Sun., December 15th, 11:30 AM

One of several service projects we have going on this year is our annual Gift Tree. It's a chance for us to support some of the families at our local elementary school who need a little extra help this holiday season.

It's so easy to participate... take a gift tag (or two) off the Giving Tree in the narthex, buy a gift matching the tag and bring it back to church.

We'll get together after worship on Sunday, December 15th to wrap our gifts and enjoy some holiday music.

Reverse Advent Calendar

It's time to begin collecting your Reverse Advent Calendar items!  It's easy to do... just get a list of foods to be donated from the shelf above the food bank donations or CLICK below to print out a copy. Get a large box for the items and start shopping.

You don't have to follow the suggested items, just have fun and know that your generosity is greatly appreciated by folks in need. At the end of December, bring your box of food to church and let me know if you need help bringing it in from your car. I'll deliver all the boxes to Jason Lee food bank.
