Business Session & Voting - April 23 & 24
The PHCC West Business Sessions will be held, via video and phone conference at their originally scheduled times:

  • Business Session 1 - April 23 - 2:55 PM PDT
  • Business Session 2 - April 24 - 10:00 AM PDT

Absentee Ballots Are Due Friday April, 10!
Absentee Ballots have been mailed to all members for the election of officers and the resolutions previously emailed to all members. Votes may also be cast at the Business Session.

Additional details and logon information will be sent in advance of the Business Sessions.

Business Session - Zoom Test Sessions
There will be two test sessions to give members and attendees the opportunity try out Zoom in advance.

Members and attendees will have an opportunity to log on at their convenience, test computer and speaker functionality as well as familiarize with Zoom’s meeting features:

Test Session 2 - Friday, April 17 - 8 AM- 12 noon »

The DOL set forth that employers can satisfy the posting requirement for employees who are working at home by emailing or mailing the notice to employees by emailing or direct mailing this notice to employees, or posting this notice on an employee information internal or external website.

Families First Coronavirus Response Act
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act was signed into law on March 18th.

This expands existing Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) protections and creates a new federal paid sick leave program for employees impacted by the spread of COVID-19. The Act takes effect by April 2. Employers are advised to review their workplace policies.

Essential Work Certification Cards
Provided by Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP. For use in California, and Contractors in other locations with shelter-in-place orders.

To minimize potential conflict with police and health officials, it is advisable to provide personnel with a certification card to display.

California users may wish to cut and paste from the downloadable form, complete the blanks, and print to carry with them.
