Kindness Rocks!

At our May 9th social, we had a blast creating Kindness Rocks! Kindness Rocks are stones which are decorated with pictures and inspirational words. The idea is to create something that will offer you joy or a message of hope - a message that you can also choose to leave somewhere (like a park or next to a sidewalk) for someone else to find.
 
Be on the lookout for Kindness Rocks when you are walking around town: you might to spot a message of hope. We will do another Kindness Rocks social in the fall.

July Socials
Wed. July 11th 6-8pm
"Bocce Ball @ Cornwall Manor"
Cornwall Manor bocce ball courts are off Rexmont Rd in Cornwall. Parking lot is across from Cornwall Iron Furnace (94 Rexmont Rd). We will have balloons marking the lot.
 
Thur. July 19th 1-2:30pm
"Celebrate America: Picnic in the Park @ South Hills"   
Girl Scout Claire Wilson (who is doing her Silver Award project volunteering with Compeer) will put on a picnic in the park! We will meet at South Hills Park (park in lot on Lincoln Street) and be at the Pavilion with balloons.
**Please bring your own sandwich.**
We will have potato chips, drinks, and red-white-and-blue treats.
There will be backyard games to play-or enjoy walking on the paved park paths that hoop South Hills.
