Two Holiday Weekends. We Win!

We are expecting lots of nice weather for our first of two 4 th  of July weekends, starting this weekend!

Great weather and great times are on the horizon!

Lots of repairs were accomplished this week, primarily on the Golf Course Obstacles. It's ridiculous, but the ones with movement were vandalized last weekend. They have been repaired and are back out. More painting and gardening was also completed, to help make things look even nicer.

All the Best,
Steve Cline

Wristbands

Wristbands must be worn,  ON THE WRIST, WHENEVER YOU ARE OFF YOUR SITE . It's how we know you are a registered guest here and can help provide a safe environment for you. We have been warning people for several weeks now and will start ticketing and fining people this weekend.

Many attendees at the Spring Meeting shared how the majority of people don't particularly like wearing wristbands, but they do because they understand why it is important. They were unhappy that they were wearing them and others were getting away with not wearing them. I have committed to them that we would step up the enforcement.

DJ in the house_
America's Got Talent

And so do we! We will have a much-upgraded music experience at the pavilion Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I have received much valuable feedback about the music and how we need more variety, etc. I would like to thank those that volunteered their opinions.

Based on your advice, I approached one of your favorite DJ's, Tom from site 278, and asked him to DJ and help us create some better playlists. Basically, I asked him to help make our dances like the old times, and he agreed!.

Tom will DJ for us this weekend, on Saturday night, and again next Saturday night, to help kick this off! Thanks Tom! We are truly fortunate to have you help us. Our staff will be in attendance for training purposes both nights.

You asked for better music at the dances, I listened, and you won't want to miss it! Let's see a large, diverse group in attendance to help bring back the Good Ole Music Nights at the campground.

Most people are very happy with the quality of food and prices at the "Basket," but we are having some problems with wait times. What is the problem?

Basically our business has kept growing and we have outgrown our space. The quality of food, and prices, has helped us experience a nice growth in business over the past couple of years. In addition to the regulars that come up for an order, we now are getting lots of large group orders, both from people calling in and stopping in.

I have talked to Brenda and Terry, and rest assured that we are working to improve the situation. The first step we are taking is to start advising people before they order that there is a wait and offer our best guess as to how long that wait is.

Unfortunately, that is about all we can do now.
The problem is that our grill and fryers are at full capacity. The first picture shows our current hood and grill, and the next one is a close up of our grill and fryer space. That's all we have and all we have room for at this point. We will continue to monitor the situation and have begun looking at what we can do in the future. We will keep you posted.
