Include City's Holiday Tree in Your Tour of Lights
If you're planning a holiday-lights tour, be sure to include the beautiful City of Moreno Valley Holiday Tree. It's decorated, lighted and ready for photos at City Hall, 14177 Frederick St. Please remember to wear a mask and keep your distance from others. The City's tree will be up through New Year's!
Fireworks are Illegal in Moreno Valley,
and Police are Enforcing
As we get closer to New Year's Eve, Moreno Valley Police want to remind residents that all fireworks are illegal in the City, and penalties could include criminal charges and a fine of up to $3,500. Fireworks enforcement is the top non-emergency priority right now for MVPD. And the Fireworks Task Force, comprised of MVPD, Moreno Valley Fire, and Code & Neighborhood Services, are patrolling on the ground and in the air for illegal fireworks use.

To quickly report fireworks violators anonymously, please go online to www.moval.org/fireworks. Remember to provide a specific address to which police can respond. Or you can call the Moreno Valley Police non-emergency hotline at 951-247-8700 (choose option #5 to reach dispatch).
Get FREE Masks from the City of Moreno Valley
City leaders gratefully accepted donations recently of personal protective equipment from local companies. As part of the City's "We've Got You Covered" initiative, free masks are available at the Employment Resource Center (ERC) at 12625 Frederick St., and at any Moreno Valley Library branch. Since launching We've Got You Covered in the summer, the City of Moreno Valley has distributed more than 187,000 free masks to help slow the spread of the virus.
