Idea Box: Level Up at the Library
Join us for a series of programs on gaming at Central Library. Whether you're a video gamer or tabletop fan, there will be something for everyone!

Oct. 1 - Dec. 2 , interactive display at Central Library - you can check out board games for up to 1 hour!
Oct. 13 at 1-3 p.m. , Introduction to Game Development with Richard Mitchell of Tulsa Game Developers
Oct. 16 at 5-8 p.m. , Game Day for All Ages (including VR, tabletop, and video games)

Tech for Travelers, let your phone do the work
Looking for tools and apps to help you while traveling? Join us for an introduction to apps like AirBnB and Uber! We will also look at some handy library apps to keep you entertained while you're away.

Tech Talk: Cryptography, 500 B.C. to Present
Join us at noon on Friday, October 12 in the Digital Literacy Lab at Central Library for a lecture on the history of Cryptography. From Cesarean Ciphers to hashing functions, Luke Crouch of Mozilla will take on the journey cryptography has taken to develop.

Looking to network professionally online? Join us at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15 at Central Library as we cover the basics of LinkedIn, including signing up, updating your profile and ways to utilize the site to its fullest.

Looking to learn how to utilize Facebook to connect with family and friends? Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23 at Martin Regional Library for a basic introduction to the popular social media platform Facebook.
Photoshop Lab: Editing for Photographers
Adobe Photoshop is a powerful tool for graphic design, photography, and many other creative projects. In October's Photoshop Lab, where we will learn the basics of editing photos in Photoshop.

Looking for cheaper alternatives to pricey cable and satellite television packages? In this class we will talk about the pros, cons and costs of streaming platforms and devices.
