GEPL Reads for SCARCE

This year, the library challenges kids to read for 70,000 hours and adults to read 4,000 books. So far, kids have read for 13,457 hours and adults have read 1,225 books. Keep up the good work! If the community reaches the library's goal, the Friends of the Glen Ellyn Public Library and the Glen Ellyn Library Foundation have each pledged funds to SCARCE, an award-winning nonprofit that provides environmental education through hands-on programs to schools, organizations, and the community. Sign up for the library's Summer Reading program and help us read for SCARCE!
