The program will feature technical working group and committee meetings, technical and industry speakers, member presentations, golf, and other social activities.

Children can enjoy playing water games in the "walk-in" active pool or taking a ride down the waterslide.

With 476 acres on property, there are plenty of great places nearby to explore, hike, and bike during your stay.
The Potomac Heritage Trail offers amazing views of the Potomac River from the bluffs high above or The Loudoun trail, part of a series of Northern Virginia trails that connect the region. You can run, hike or walk along the river and cross historic points of interest like Ball's Bluff, a famous Civil War battle site.

The registration fee includes admittance to all onsite meetings and events, as well as breakfast and coffee breaks on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, lunch on Monday, and the reception and dinner on Tuesday evening. The Welcome Reception and Dinner on Sunday evening is sponsored by Cordage Institute and Eurocord Associate Members.

Golf
The Annual Gale Foster Memorial Golf Tournament will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 4th on the Norman Course, which is onsite at the resort, and casual golf on Wednesday, June 5th will be consecutive tee times beginning at 1:00pm on the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course, also onsite at the resort.
Designed by the legendary Greg Norman, the "Great White Shark," the Norman Course incorporates the natural undulations of the Potomac River Valley, meandering along the Potomac River. The rolling landscape of the 7,332-yard par-72 golf course winds through a mature hardwood forest and along rock outcroppings.
Golf Magazine named the Norman Course one of the "Top 10 New Courses You Can Play" in 2005, and it remains one of the "Top 20 Greg Norman Courses You Can Play."
The Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course provides mental challenges with risk-reward holes and a tee-to-green carry over water on the par-3 17th hole, as well as physical tests with a pair of classic, three-shot par-5s. While friendly, the strategic layout will test the skills of all playing levels, rewarding each with a memorable round of golf.

DC Whirlwind Tour
We have organized a whirlwind tour of Washington, DC, the Unites States capital, on Sunday, June 2
nd
beginning at 9:00am. This 6-hour excursion will allow you to experience history come to life as you visit some of the city’s most beloved sites.
Tour stops include the Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and the White House. The tour bus will also drive by the National Mall, Capitol Building, Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. The itinerary requires a high level of walking, and a boxed lunch is included with the fee.

Dinner at Birkby House
On Monday, June 3rd, an optional dinner will be hosted offsite at
Birkby House.
Located in historic downtown Leesburg, Birkby House is an elegant, picturesque setting. Built circa 1770, Thomas Birkby's estate includes the Main House, the Carriage House, the meticulously landscaped gardens, and the idyllic white gazebo.
Transportation will be provided to and from the venue.

Hotel Shuttle: The hotel provides a paid shuttle service through BBC Express for arriving and departing flights at Dulles International Airport (IAD). The cost is

reservations for the shuttle are required a minimum of 24 hours in advance. You can make your reservation
online.
Taxi: T
axi services are available at the hotel and airport. The estimated cost from Dulles International Airport to the Lansdowne Resort and Spa is approximately $60-$70.
