New CE Requirement on Prescription Opioids

We know that there have been a lot of questions about the new 1-hour prescription opioid CE requirement for social workers. Though it is not yet posted on the Board of Social Work Examiners site, it is part of a state law (that's why you won't see it in the Regulations themselves) that was adopted by the BSWE. This will be required for you to complete each licensing cycle, so you have time!

The law can be found here, See the section titled C.45:15BB-11.1 Continuing education for social workers.
UNIT HAPPENINGS

Ashley Rifkin, NASW-NJ Membership Coordinator led a fun and interactive vision board workshop for the Mercer/Burlington Unit! Members had a great time connecting about their goals and dreams for the future.
