"The evidence of Easter is a reconfigured Easter people,
people who are no longer afraid of the dark,
people who dare to live by their affections and not by their fears,
people who know that they need not die
in order to truly experience resurrection living,
people who fear neither death nor life.
In short, people such as you and me who aspire to be people like that

Lenten Devotionals Available
Throughout history, Lent has served as a time of reflection. This year, in order to facilitate that reflection, we will offer a Lenten devotional prepared by the PCUSA called "Awakening to God's Beauty - A Lenten Invitation to Pray with Art."  The devotional uses photography to open our eyes with new awareness and gratitude for the beauty of creation, and also to God's call for justice in our world. We hope that the devotional will stir our souls on our Lenten journey together. Suggested donation $3.00.
MIPC Continues to Turn Green

Seattle Festival Orchestra
featuring Dr. William F. Bryant, organ
Sunday, April 28th at 3pm
Plymouth Congregational Church in Seattle
MIPC organist William will be featured during the Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony on the grand Fisk Pipe Organ that was recently installed at Plymouth. The Fisk at Plymouth is one of Seattle's newer world-renowned pipe organs and one of the only organs in the area purely built in a French pipe organ design. Thus, this concert is a rare treat in the Pacific Northwest to hear this large orchestral work with an organ that rivals those in Paris, instruments Saint-Saëns would have been exposed to during his lifetime as a Parisian composer. Tickets are available here.
Campanella Bell Choir
Bell Choir is looking for some additional ringers. If you can read music and can practice on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8, contact Ron Ebbers, 206-248-1815 or ebbersgallotte@gmail.com and come give bells a try. Men, women, middle or high schoolers are welcome. We generally play the first Sunday of the month October through May or June.
Monday Morning Women's Bible Study
Mondays, 10:00-11:30am in the Fireside Room
Linda Fowler facilitates a nine-session topic using the Horizons Bible Study "Above and Beyond: Hearing God's Call in Jonah and Ruth".  Just as the Book of Ruth is more than a kind of Semitic Cinderella story, the Book of Jonah is much more than the biggest "fish story" of all time.  Please join us!
Contacts: Linda Fowler, linda.fowler@comcast.net or
Halie Dodrill, halie@dodrill.net.
Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study
Our weekly group meets on Tuesdays at 7:00am in the Fireside Room. Please contact Brian Emanuels for more information, brianem@hotmail.com.
