PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Greetings NTMCA Members!
I hope this newsletter finds you all in good health. On behalf of the City Secretary’s office in Southlake, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time in our office. It has been the most difficult time I have ever had while serving in municipal government. We have lost a dear family member, one who has left a deep hole in our hearts forever. Carol was an experienced City Secretary with a huge heart and an even bigger smile. She had an enthusiastic laughter and a sincere desire to get things done right with a willingness to dig in and try new things. May you be resting in peace dear friend.
JANUARY MEETING SUMMARY
Thank you to Yael Forgey for hosting our January meeting in Azle. It was a pleasure meeting in the Library with a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful table decorations, delicious menu, and awesome door prizes.

SAVE THE DATE – 2019 PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR – Thursday, April 18
The Professional Seminar Committee has been working hard to bring us an Athenian Dialogue this spring. This is a perfect opportunity to acquire both re-certification and CMC/MMC credits. We hope you’ll participate! Remember, space will be limited, so register as soon as you receive the invitation.
The Seminar will be held on Thursday, April 18 at the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville, 76034.  The book we will be studying is The Woman Behind the New Deal  by Kirstin Downey, facilitated by Dr. Amy Holt. I look forward to her undoubtedly unique perspective on this influential book.
As always, thank you all for your continued support of our organization, of the Board and Committee Members, and of each other. The NTMCA continues to shine and be a leader among the TMCA affiliates. YOU make it happen and we all benefit!
Respectfully Yours,  Amy Shelley, President
