There will be NO morning bible study nor evening Eucharist service next Wednesday.  
 
Also, the church office will be closed.

Hot Breakfast
There will be NO breakfast this Sunday due to Independence Day weekend.  The next breakfast will be Sunday, July 8, will be provided by guest chef, Celia Manlove. 
 
Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.   
   
Vacation Bible School 
The Episcopal evening Vacation Bible School will be hosted by St. James Pewee Valley on Thursday July 24 th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  
 
The theme of the summer VBS is "God's wonderful creation - What a wonderful world!' and the topic for July 24 th will be "Soil and vegetation."  
 
Please contact the church office if you would like to enroll your child, and also if you would like to volunteer, as we need adult volunteers!
 
Lemonade on the Lawn! 
Summer time is now upon us and it's time to begin serving Lemonade on the Lawn!   
 
Lemonade and nibbles will be provided, just outside of the narthex, immediately following the 10:00 Eucharist.   
 
Please plan to join in for a time of fellowship and refreshment! We look forward to seeing you!
 
Puerto Rico update
We are in the process of organizing an informational gathering for folks to learn more about Rev. Shelley's, and Bernie, Eileen, and Lawson Strenecky's recent trip to Puerto Rico.  
 
We will publicize the date and additional information about this important gathering in just a few weeks! Please stay tuned!
   
Wednesday Walks on the Anchorage Trail 
Join us at the Anchorage Trail each Wednesday at 8:30 AM (weather permitting) for an invigorating walk along the trail that leads us thru a wildflower meadow where you might see deer, colorful birds, turtles and other species of both animals and plants.
 
After our walk, we can come to St. Luke's to hear the word of God at our Wednesday morning Bible Study. Looking forward to being "on the trail again!"

Bellewood School Garden 
You are invited to a celebration in the Bellewood School Garden!  
 
Through the generosity of the Arts for Kosair Kids in partnership with the Fund for the Arts, the student of Bellewood School have worked all summer with Lisa Simon from Louisville Visual Art to create a sensory garden. 
 
Open House - Monday, July 30 from 10am - 11:30am. Bellewood School, 11103 Park Road, Anchorage.
