Be Inspired by Our CoG Wall of Crosses

For the past year, the Cross Wall outside the Sanctuary has been celebrated and appreciated by many people. If your family would like to contribute a cross, we invite you to bring one in. You are welcome to bring it forward during our Wednesday night Lenten Worship during the offering or drop it off in the church office (by April 14).

If your cross happens to have a story that goes with it - where it came from, who made it or any background information, please be sure to include that info too. Thank you.

Lenten Soup Supper Sign-Up

As always, our soup suppers are well attended and enjoyed by the congregation before Lent worship. There are still openings for families to bring in their favorite soup for Wednesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 10. The sign-up sheet is available in the gathering space; look for the table with the "Soup Supper Sign-Up" on it. Thank you for helping make soup suppers a great success!

Enhance your knowledge about sustainability, what is it, why is it important, and what can you do to help care for God's creation. You'll leave with easy-to-implement tasks you can begin using right away at home. This program is presented by Scott Firman, CoG's Creation Care Team. Attend, ask questions, have fun, and you might just "bag" yourself a prize! Join us, open to all adults, you do not need to be a member to attend. Recycle Your Blues, April 6-9 at CoG

Put Old Denim to Good Use

CoG's Creation Care Team is holding a Denim Collection Drive April 6-9 . Bring in your old denim clothing and jeans. Items will be brought to Blue Jeans Go Green, an organization that upcycles denim into insulation used in homes being built by Habitat for Humanity and other similar organizations. Time to unload those jeans that are torn, don't fit, have paint on them, and put them to good use.

Worship Bag Tune-Up ! Contact Gretchen if you are interested in refreshing the quiet worship bags for our young worshipers! Donations of items for quiet play during worship for our children ages preschool – grade 3 are welcome!

Nursery Helpers Needed ! Contact Jenni Payne if you are interested in helping to care for our youngest during worship times!

SEEKING ADULTS AND YOUTH to serve as SPARK teachers and shepherds for 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship times! Share God’s love and God’s story with children preschool – grade 3. SEEKING ADULTS to serve as Connect Guides on Wednesday nights, 6-7 p.m. Explore and experience biblical texts with 4 ^th and 5 ^th grade students now through May 15th. Men and women are invited to be part of the faith formation journey with our students! For more information contact Gretchen .
