Parent Footprint Podcast: Dr. Dan Talks with Katie Hurley and Judy Hoberman on  Supporting Girls and Women
Last month on the Parent Footprint podcast, Dr. Dan spoke with two guests who are making a difference for women and girls.

Dr. Dan welcomed psychotherapist Katie Hurley, LCSW, for a provocative discussion of the mean girl culture, how we can raise strong girls, and the release of her book No More Mean Girls, now available in paperback. Dr. Dan and Katie tackle the topics of anxiety, depression, and bullying, with advice for parents on how to help their young daughters navigate tricky territories such as friendship building, creating an authentic self, and standing up for themselves and others.

Next, Dr. Dan welcomed author-expert-TedX speaker- gender expert-radio host-entrepreneur and parent Judy Hoberman to the show to talk about Generosity - what it is, how to spread it, and why when you give your time to others in your work life and home life you become an ambassador for good living.

Judy's passion for mentoring and paying it forward started when she found she was one of the only women working in insurance among a sea of male coworkers. She committed to helping one woman every single day, and now she has founded the Walking on the Glass Floor Foundation to help young women in business. The podcast discussion also tackles topics of time, work-life balance, and resilience.
