The Downtown Boise Association today announced Alive After Five, Boise’s favorite summer concert series is taking steps to “go green”!
Alive After Five Goes Green:
- Reusable Stainless steel cups offered for sale to fans for beverage purchases
- Proud Source Water for sale in aluminum cans
- Sawtooth Wine also offered for sale in aluminum cans
“Alive After Five, for 33 years, has led the way in building community through great live music and free concerts. This season, Alive After Five is proud to join other local events and festivals in offering beverages in reusable, recyclable containers. As event producers, we know Alive After Five fans will appreciate these more sustainable options,” said Lynn Hightower of the Downtown Boise Association.

Stainless Beverage Cups:
- Branded with the Alive After Five logo for fans
- For sale for $6 each at the Alive After Five Merch Booth
- Alive After Five steel cups will be sold to fans alongside Alive After Five t-shirts, coozies, and other cool branded items. Plus merch from the performing artists.
- Alive After Five will also accept steel 16oz cups from other local events and festivals
- The stainless cups are not required for beverage purchases but encouraged!
Opening Day, Wednesday, June 5:
As always, Alive After Five goes 5:00pm – 8:00pm on The Grove Plaza in the heart of Downtown Boise.

Tips for Charity:
The Tips for Charity program offers nonprofits the opportunity to provide volunteer assistance with beverage service at Alive After Five. In return, all tips generously contributed by music fans from their beverage purchases go to support the nonprofit.
For the 2019 Alive After Five season, volunteers will be provided by these partner nonprofits:
- June: Catch - Charitable Assistance to the Community’s Homeless
- July: Fundsy, on behalf of The Peregrine Fund
- August: Boise Fire Local 149 Burnout Fund
