Did You Know Kid's Creek Offers Music Therapy? 

Music Therapy is the use of music to achieve non-musical goals. Music therapists work toward similar goals to those of speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, but using music as our medium! We help improve speech, cognition, attention, motor skills, and self-help and play skills.

Music is a powerful vehicle for development and rehabilitation because of it's nonverbal, creative, structural, and emotional qualities. Music is accessible and non-intimidating, which allows for quick progress to be attained - AND IT'S FUN! - which makes it motivating for children!

AAC Parent Info Night


Does your child use an AAC/Speech Generating Device?  
Do you wonder if your child needs a device?  
Do you want to learn more information about AAC/SGD?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, JOIN US on Thursday, July 12, at 6:30 pm for an AAC/SGD Parent Info Night!

We will dive into these questions and more! We want to:  
  • answer your questions 
  • calm your fears AND
  • provide support for you, your child and your family! 
If your child currently uses a device, please feel free to bring it along with specific or general questions.

It's a Luau Party for Teens!


Ages 12+ are invited to join us for a FREE summer luau on Friday, July 13, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Kid's Creek Therapy office. 

We will have games (including limbo!), crafts, and food, and invite you to wear your best Hawaiian outfit.

Scheduling Notes

We have a few Saturday OT appointments available - get them now before they are gone!  We also have afternoon openings now available on Mondays for OT.

Summer has arrived! Please be sure to let us know at the front desk if your summer schedule or planned travel will require you to make changes to your child's regular therapy schedule.
Please also note that Kid's Creek Therapy will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday.
