I am so excited to share with you my recent partnership with Lisa Rooks Morris.  Not only is Lisa rejoining our incredible team at Premier Sotheby's International Realty, she and I have created the Loeffler-Rooks Morris Group.  As partners, Lisa and I will continue working with our base clientele assisting buyers and sellers with their higher-end condominiums and single-family home sales. Year-to-Date Home Sales are Strong in Sarasota and Manatee

The first five months of 2018 are showing strong results with increased sales in both Sarasota and Manatee markets for condominiums - Sarasota saw a 6.5 percent increase to 452  sales  (over 425 in May 2017)  with Manatee showing a 16.8 percent increase to 278 (over 238 for May 2017).  The total dollar values are worth mentioning in that Sarasota saw an increase from $143.9 Million in 2017 to $155.0 Million in May 2018 for condos.

The single-family homes market showed a slight decrease of 0.2 percent to 820 in Sarasota County (from 822 in May 2017) but Manatee showed an increase of 2.6 percent or 641 sales.  The dollar values for single-family homes in Sarasota went from $284.3 Million in May 2017 to $312.5 Million in May 2018 with the average days on market going down from 97 to 90 days.

'"The condo market in both counties has had an upward trend in pricing and sales so far this year,' said Greg Owens, 2018 President of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee. 'Combined with the continuing strength in the single-family homes, we are seeing a very robust market. This makes it a great time to contact your local REALTOR® to sell, buy or invest in real estate."

Properties going pending this month increased by 8.2 percent over May of last year; condos were up 5.5 percent and single-family homes by 9 percent in the two county areas.
