Ocean Pines Board of Directors April 6 Meeting
The Ocean Pines Board of Directors met on Saturday, April 6 to appoint Jeff Knepper as a Director on the OPA Board, to approve the position of Director of Operations. Click to watch.
ROAD CLOSURE: April 2019
Kent Construction will begin placing temporary road closure signs on Boston Drive the week of 4/8-4/12. Road Closure is required and will occur between 82 and 86 Boston Drive starting 4/15. The closure is required in order to replace a failing culvert under Boston Drive. Boston Drive is expected to reopen the week of 4/29-5/3.
Platform Tennis Lessons, Food
Here in Ocean Pines we play platform tennis outside all year long, the courts are 1/3 the size of a regular tennis court. Each court is surrounded by a 12’ chain link fence which can be used to hit the ball off of to keep it in play. We have over 100 players, 6 lighted courts, lots of drop-ins, and fun social activities.

Bertino to Hold Town Hall
Worcester County Commissioner Chip Bertino will host a town meeting on Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at the Ocean Pines library. He will discuss issues and developments impacting the Ocean Pines district and the county.  Commissioner Bertino’s guest speakers include Worcester County Sheriff Matthew Crisafulli, Worcester County State’s Attorney Kris Heiser and Lynne Barton, principal of Stephen Decatur Middle School. April 11: LAND AND WATER Q&A in Ocean Pines at Community Center at 7 pm:
How is some of the land around us being protected and preserved? What efforts are being made to protect our waterways and their watersheds? How can we help? Presentations by the Lower Shore and Trust and Maryland Coastal Bays Program. Question and Answer to follow. Open to all interested residents. Sponsored by the Ocean Pines Environmental & Natural Assets Committee and the Protectors of the St. Martin River. The Lower Shore Land Trust works with communities to identify and permanently protect critical lands to benefit the water, wildlife, working landscapes and people of the Lower Eastern Shore. The Maryland Coastal Bays Program exists to protect and conserve the waters and surrounding watershed of Maryland's five coastal bays located behind Ocean City and Assateague Island.

Meditative labyrinth at St Paul's by the Sea will be open on Wednesdays during Lent. It will be open from 6-8 pm, except Ash Wednesday from 7:30-8:30. We will not be open April 17.
