Memorial Mass Tomorrow, November 2
Please join us on Monday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate our special memorial mass on All Souls Day. To view the livestreamed mass on SerraSchool.org, please visit the Parents Only Section. Password is required. Thank you in advance for reminding your child to support the missionary childhood association by bringing in some change for the collection before mass.
Food For Friends Drive
Our next "Food for Friends" monthly food drive will be this Friday, November 6. Our local Food Banks tell us the need for food is up over 90% from 2019 and unfortunately their inventory is down by 40%!

Final Picture Day on Wednesday, November 4: First Communion, New Students and Makeups
All Preschool to Grade 8 students (in-person or live streaming), new students or those absent on the previous picture days, this is your final opportunity to get your school photo. Additionally, we will have First Communion photos for current 3rd graders who received their first communion this year past May while in 2nd grade.

Attire: Preschool students may wear their preschool uniform. Students in TK- Grade 7 are required to wear their formal uniform, navy blue vest or sweater included. Eighth grade students will wear their graduation robes. Questions? Please contact Mrs. Burrola at
Celebration Book Club
The Celebration Book Club is the library's main funding for new books. Celebrate your student's birthday, special accomplishment, First Communion, favorite holiday, or dedicate a book in honor of your child's teacher. If you would like to participate in CBC, simply fill out the form online. Students may choose their new book from the selection.
Join the Battle of the Books Club
Join Battle of the Books (BOB), a voluntary reading incentive program for 4th and 5th grade students. The purpose of BOB is to foster the love of reading while encouraging, analyzing and discussing a variety of 20 assigned books at virtual book club meetings. Type to Learn 4 - Keyboarding
St. Junipero Serra Catholic School is pleased to offer Type to Learn 4 as its instructional keyboarding program for TK through 8th Grade. TTL4 has engaging lessons that include graphics and activities with multiple opportunities for practice, remediation and goals for success. Directions for each activity are read to the students, and they receive an accuracy and speed report at the end of each lesson.
2020-2021 Yearbook Club is Looking for Photos!
Do you have photos from quarantine birthday parties, community service projects, parish involvement, zoom sessions, first day photos, First Communion or special memories? We'd love to include them in our Yearbook!
We are also looking for positive memories from your family! This could be about the time you spent in quarantine, during distance learning, or even over the summer break. Write a few sentences about your positive memory and be sure to add your family's name.  We know life has given us challenges, but good always finds a way through a tough situation!  Please send any and all photos to Janess Sifers at [email protected].

OC Catholic Schools remain committed to providing accuracy and transparency as it relates to the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among staff and students on our campuses. To date, the number of positive cases has been low and there has been no transmission at any of our schools.

Teachers and Staff will respond to your emails within a 24-hour period. Please refrain from sending emails to our teachers during the school day, as their primary responsibility is delivering instruction to students. If you have an emergency change in student pick-up arrangements, please contact the front office and they will relay the information to the teachers.
