Distribution "Quip" of the Month

"Murphy's Vortex": a mysterious force that causes everything with a customer order to go wrong.  You have 90% of a product line in stock?  The customer wants  one of those in the last 10%.  Factory lead-time quoted as "four weeks"?  It ships in eight.  Requested to ship from the factory overnight?  It ships via ground freight.  And when the customer finally gets the item, he realizes that it's not what he wanted after all.  And he wants to return it for full credit.  And what he REALLY wanted was a stock item for you.

(Thanks to Rob Mudge of Standard Source, Inc. for this month's quip.)

WarehouseTWO Tip of the Month

Use the manufacturer's exact part number as the part number that you post to your WarehouseTWO account.  This is what other WarehouseTWO members and internet browsers will search for.   No one outside your company knows your internal part numbers, so no one will find your items if you post them using your internal part number.  Need more convincing about this tip?  Read this article.
Referral Rewards Program

The easiest way to get more value from your WarehouseTWO account is to increase participation by other distributors and manufacturers.  Over the years, many of you have been loyal "evangelists", recommending WarehouseTWO to peer distributors, to manufacturers and to associations and marketing groups.

We want to encourage and compensate you for the results of your efforts.  To learn more about our "WarehouseTWO Referral Rewards" program, and how you and your company can benefit, click here.
