OUR MISSION:
St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.

FROM THE DESK OF MRS. TIEZZI
Dear St. Rita Parents,
There are not enough words to say thank you to all our families and the H.S.A. for the fabulous breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea which was provided to our faculty last week for Teacher Appreciation Day. The food was plentiful and delicious! Our teachers were overwhelmed with your generosity.
Also, thank you to our families and students for donating summer clothing to my daughter, Hope’s, medical mission trip to the Gambia. Over 30 suitcases were packed with clothes, medical supplies and treats for the children and shipped thanks to your generosity. Yesterday Hope and her classmates were able to travel to a Gambian village to provide much needed medical care to the residents. During their week-long mission trip the PA students from Mercy College will travel to clinics, villages and hospitals to assist and support the local health care providers.
Please join us this Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 P.M. for the H.S.A. Wine and Cheese Social and Volunteer Appreciation at which time the H.S.A. Executive Board will be announced.
Next Tuesday, May 22 beginning at 6:30 our annual Spring Band and Chorus Concert will be held. Band and chorus members may dress in dress up clothes for the concert. All are invited to attend.
You may not be unaware that key budgetary decisions are directly tied to an estimated number of students expected to enroll in the coming year. For instance, enrollment numbers determine the appropriate number of teachers needed to provide the best educational experience for students, the number of textbooks that must be ordered and the space still available to prospective students at each grade level. With the restructuring currently occurring within the Archdiocesan school network we have many families looking to enroll for the 2018-2019 school year. Re-registration deposits of $150 per child and the family tuition agreement are now past due. In order to guarantee your child’s spot, your $150 deposit per child and your family tuition agreement must be turned in.
Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. May you have a fantastic week.
God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi

Seeking Volunteers to Co-Chair the 2018-19 Walk-A-Thon
Would you like to get involved at the school and have some fun with one of our biggest and most popular fundraisers/community events? We are seeking two new co-chairs for next year's Walk-A-Thon. Most of the planning and organizing for the Walk-A-Thon takes place during the summer, so we need to fill these roles before the end of the school year. Meghan Burns, past co-chair, will assist the new co-chairs who will also be assisted by the HSA Executive Committee. It's a great event that the students always enjoy! Please help us continue that tradition! If you are interested, please email
hsasrs.stritaschool@gmail.com
. Thank you!
