June 2018     Helping Neighbors in Need in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody Since 1987.
Help Local Kids this Summer with CAC!

You can provide summer lunches and school supplies to local children in need this summer. Just $35 provides a summer lunch bag with 5 lunches for a week, or a backpack with school supplies specific per school and grade. CAC is providing summer lunches and backpacks to up to 1,000 local children.
Volunteer Groups Pack Summer Lunch Bags

Volunteers are giving their time to pack 2,600 Summer Lunch Bags for local children! The bags contain 5 lunches each for a total of 13,000 lunches. CAC's lunch program is helping families that have difficulty meeting food needs in summer when children are home and not receiving free meals at school. Thank you CISCO, CIT, XLCatlin, VMWare, National Charity League and everyone who is pitching in!

In just one month of the Challenge generous donors have contributed $126,020!
Heartfelt Gratitude in her Own Words

"In my time of crisis, in my time of need, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for theact of kindness and generosity that was so graciously shown to me.  I am not accustomed to having the need to ask for assistance in matters like these, but life's unexpected circumstances do sometimes occur.

I am grateful!....I am beyond grateful that assistance with my residential rental payment was made available to me during this difficult time of challenge.  When I thought that I may not have any options; when I felt as though my "back was up against the wall", the CAC was there to help....

Thank you for the wonderful service that you offer to the community.  You have made a difference in my life and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
