June 3, 2019
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
This is our final newsletter of the year! With this note comes a HUGE amount of thanks!
First of all to our amazing staff and faculty! The many hours and extra hours you have put in to make this year a success has been greatly appreciated by all! We are blessed to have a faculty of caring teachers and aides! Special thanks to Mrs. Ziegler! Our school runs smoothly because of you! Thanks to Mr. Keith and Mr. Jim and Mr. Ben! You have kept our school squeaky clean and we appreciate you!! Finally, thanks to our wonderful, generous parent (and grand-parent) volunteers! We could never run a school without volunteers! Whether it be on the playground, lunchroom, classroom, or committee help we THANK you! Of course, last but not least we thank our students! This has been a great year - filled with memories, fun, exciting times, and so much learning our heads are ready to explode! Have a wonderful, safe summer!

Along with thanks also comes a few goodbyes.
The Krause family is expecting their first child in early November. Therefore, Mrs. Krause, our gym teacher, has decided to take some time off to be a full-time mom. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Krause!
Ms. Stalteri, our music teacher, has decided to move on. We wish her well in her future as a Music Teacher and Vocalist.
Mrs. Spencer, our Spanish teacher, has been offered a full-time position at another school.  We plan to have Futura provide us with another Spanish teacher.
We also have two retirements this year. Mrs. Hofbauer (Grade 1) and Mrs. Hawkins (Grade 2) have both decided to hang up their teacher bags and retire. We wish both of these wonderful teachers a happy life in retirement! Mrs. Hofbauer and Mrs. Hawkins will hopefully be back to substitute teach for us in the future!

We will prayerfully send forth these five great ladies on Friday morning at Mass.

Thanks to all of you for making my job a little easier. I have been blessed with five wonderful years here at St. Anthony on the Lake School! I look forward to the future with excitement!

Blessings!
Mrs. Ellen Knippel
