We can help...HFMA Region 8 Scholarship Program is a way for the business partners/vendors to continue to help and support educational events for providers.
Each of the 9 HFMA Chapters in Region 8 will receive 4 provider scholarships for their chapter. There are 2 additional scholarships available which are not assigned to any particular chapter, for a total of 38 scholarships.
If a chapter does not use all 4 of their scholarships by the application deadline, then any of their remaining scholarships will be put into an overall "pool". Scholarships which become part of the overall "pool" can then be assigned to any chapter within the Region.
Scholarship recipients will be selected in the order of the applications received. An Applicant must accept or decline the scholarship within one week of notification. In the event the Applicant is unable to accept the scholarship, an alternate recipient will be selected from the pool of applicants.
Only one application will be accepted per applicant and applications are due May 23, 2018!
