Are you worried about the amount of rubbish your household generates?
Do you feel like you should be doing something, but don't know where to start?
Have you heard about Plastic Free July?
Plastic Free July encourages you to avoid single use plastics for the month of July. Basically all of the plastic stuff in our lives that is designed to be used once and then thrown away.
Pick the level that best suits you:
- start by focusing in on some of the main takeaway items - could you go for the whole of July without using any single use plastic bags, bottled water / soft drink, takeaway coffee cups and plastic straws?
- or if that sounds easy - take it up a notch and see if you can really cut down on single use plastic and plastic packaging.
Plastic Free July is a great way to focus in on what we buy, use and throw away and spend July trying to find alternatives that work for you and your household.
