FAU Recognizes School District as its Employer of the Year

The School District of Palm Beach County's partnership with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) extends far beyond the classroom and lecture hall, and because of that, the FAU Division of Student Affairs has recognized the District as its 2017-2018 Employer of the Year.

According to the University, the distinction is awarded to an employer partner that "demonstrates noteworthy support for FAU students through significant preparation and involvement in career readiness programs, experiential learning opportunities and in hiring FAU Owls for full-time positions."

"As Palm Beach County's largest employer, we are fortunate to have such a strong partnership with a local university such as FAU to not only provide training and leadership for college students, but to help support potential employees in our own backyard," said Dr. Gonzalo LaCava, Chief of Human Resources for the School District.  Read more...
