Taste of Silverton

Saturday, June 22
4-9pm at
Meier's Winery

This annual event is a family-friendly evening of food, music and fun!

Women Writing for (a) Change will have a booth there, telling people about all of the great work that we do!

We're proud to be a part of this community and had a lot of fun at last year's event -- stop by and say "hello." Better yet, volunteer for an hour or two! Interested volunteers can email Marilyn Nolan.

What Will Your Legacy Be?

Your smile, your voice, your ideas, your writing... Perhaps the way you encourage those around you. Your legacy can also inspire the inner voice of countless future circle members--to support them, to spark the writer within. Please consider a legacy gift to WWf(a)C in your will, trust or beneficiary designation. It will nurture this community for years to come!

Project Connect Readaround
Highlights Power of Outreach Programs

We held an amazing celebration readaround with Cincinnati Public Schools' high school writers from the Project Connect program. The May 10th event was covered by Local 12 WKRC. All participants received specially made charm bracelets and will get a copy of their beautiful words in a professionally published anthology, entitled "We Don't Stop."

We are honored to partner with Project Connect to hold writing circles for students experiencing homelessness in Cincinnati. The circles create a weekly in-school community where students' voices are heard. Congratulations to Destiny and the Project Connect seniors who are graduating this year. And thank you to the folks at Project Connect for the critical work you are doing to wrap these students in support and love.
