The Importance Of Shopping Local
On Thursday, December 17, the City of Citrus Heights hosted a Facebook Live Q&A segment with our Economic Development and Communications Manager, Meghan Huber.

During the Q&A segment, staff discussed the importance of shopping locally this holiday season and how our residents can continue to Love Local during the current Regional Stay At Home Order.

Love Local For The Holidays
We want to help encourage shopping local for the holidays!

We know that State and County public health orders have forced businesses to adapt operations, and that this season looks so different for our entire community.
 
We want to feature our Love Local businesses on our social channels and website for encouraging holiday shopping, there are a few options!

Regional COVID-19 Updates
On Wednesday, December 9, the State of California announced that the Greater Sacramento region has met the ICU availability criteria of 15 percent or less to trigger the State’s Regional Stay at Home Order. Once triggered, these orders will remain in effect for at least three weeks. After that period, they will be lifted when a region’s projected ICU capacity meets or exceeds 15 percent. The State will assess the region’s ICU capacity on a weekly basis after the initial three week period.

The Stay at Home order took effect Thursday, Dec. 10, at 11:59 p.m., Sacramento County Public Health has issued an updated Dec. 9, 2020, Sacramento County Health Order that aligns with the State’s Regional Stay at Home Order.
