Elementary Calendar
If you need the date of a field trip, concert, or other event, please see the Elementary Event Calendar. If you prefer, you can also subscribe to the Elementary Calendar to add events to your smartphone or computer.
Medications in the Office
If you need to have medication on file for your student, please fill out a  M edication Consent form  and return it to the office at Back to School Night on Monday, August 13th.
All Dr. prescribed medications (inhalers, epi-pens, etc.) 
need to have a Dr.s signature on our VCE Medication Consent form.

Meet & Greet New Families to VCES

Come by the Elementary campus on
Thursday, July 26th from 5:30-6:30  PM  
to meet other families new to VCES
and enjoy root beer floats. Bring the whole family, we hope to see you there! 
New Parent Orientation-Adults Only!
Parents and guardians new to Valley Christian Schools (K-12) are invited to attend an orientation meeting on Monday, August 6th
on the Skyway Campus
(100 Skyway Drive, San Jose).
Complimentary dinner provided by food trucks from 5:15-6:45 PM.
At 7:00  PM, a K-12 overview will be presented by VCS President, Dr. Clifford Daugherty and key VCS Administrators. 
Departmental information tables will be manned by VCS faculty and staff to field questions and provide helpful materials. 
This evening is designed for parents and guardians only.

We urge all new parents to attend this informative event, as it is a great opportunity to learn more about Valley Christian Schools and to meet our administrative team. 
Class Placement
Class placements will be available Friday, August 3rd! 
Please call the elementary office at (408) 559.4400 between the hours of 8:00  AM - 4:00  PM starting on 
August 3rd for placement.
Back-to-School Night Kickoff
back_to_school_banner.jpgYou won't want to miss our Elementary Back-to-School Night on Monday, August 13th to kick-off our new school year. 
You will meet your child's teachers who will go over expectations for the year. This is also a great time to meet fellow classmates! We will have Warrior Wear available for purchase, PTPF information and volunteer sign-ups. 
Please meet at the flagpoles at your assigned visitation time(s) below.
  • 5:30 PM - Fourth and Fifth Grade
  • 6:15 PM - Kindergarten and First Grade
  • 7:00 PM - Second and Third Grade
Food trucks  will be on campus from 5:00-7:30 PM for families who would like to purchase dinner.

Label Clothing for the Upcoming School Year
Please label  all of your child's jackets and lunchboxes with their   first  and  last  name. We take thousands of dollars worth of lost items to charity organizations each year. 
If your child's item has a name on it, it is much more likely that it will find its way back. 
We will continue to donate all unlabeled articles at the end of each month.
