Elections is now in full swing for our incoming A.S. Board of Directors 2019-2020. Candidates are hard at work campaigning on campus. Learn more about our candidates by attending elections-related events. Cast your vote from April 15 to 18 and be entered to win prizes such as an iPad, Apple TV, AirPods, and so much more! In March, the A.S. Lobby Corps committee attended CHESS (California Higher Education Student Summit) in Sacramento, California. During this conference, our students learned about the nuances of education inequality at the state level, and were able to network and collaborate with other student leaders from the 23 CSUs.

Associated Students will soon announce the 2019 recipients of the A.S. 55 award. These student leaders are being recognized for their outstanding commitment to San José State University and the community. Join us at the 8th Annual Student Leadership Gala in the Diaz Compean Student Union Ballroom on Tuesday, May 7th from 5-7pm for the awarding ceremony.

Applications for A.S. Scholarships 2019-2020 are now open. Awards range from $500 - $2,000. To learn more, please click here. Applications are due May 1st.

Social Justice Based Leadership

How do you use inclusive language as a student leader? What social justice values are you committed to? Join the CCCAC and the Mosaic Cross Cultural Center for a workshop where you will learn how to build a student org that will leave a lasting legacy.
