Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe how quickly the school year has passed. As we come to the end of the year, I would like to thank you for your trust, faith, and commitment to the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School. We have had an amazing school year, and I know that is due to the wonderful parents we have who unite with us as partners in education.

4th Quarter PTO Meeting
Tonight! 

Please join us for our last PTO meeting of the year, tonight at 6:00. We will welcome our new PTO officers, review PTO expenses and profits for the school year, and I will share helpful information concerning our most recent ITBS results. Teachers of students in grades 2-7 will be available to pass out individual testing results at the conclusion of the meeting.

Kentucky Derby Fundraiser

Thank you all tremendously for supporting the first annual PTO/Booster Club Kentucky Derby fundraiser. It was a wonderful evening, and our entire school will benefit from the money that was raised.



Teacher Appreciation Week

We have the BEST teachers around and I know they surely felt appreciated last week during National Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful parents who helped make it a memorable week!

Book Fair
May 11- 18

Your children will have the opportunity to attend with their class  during our fair and at other open times, as well. Our Spring fair is a  much smaller event than our Fall fair, with no special events but a  GREAT opportunity to stock up on great new books to prevent the
dreaded "summer slide."  Remember, all purchases benefit our school. See you at the Book Fair!

Talent Show
Friday, May 18, 1:45 p.m

Our annual CCCS Talent Show will be held this Friday, May 18 at 1:45. Parents are welcome to join us! 


1st Annual Cougar Walk
Monday, May 21

All graduating seniors of the Class of 2018 that are alumni of CCCS are invited to our first annual "Cougar Walk" Monday 5/21 beginning at 1:00. There will be a reception in the graduates honor, and then they will walk the halls of Corpus Christi one last time before leaving for college. The students and their former teachers will be cheering them on!


Graduation Luncheon and Completion Mass
May 23

Our 8th grade class of 2018 will be honored with a graduation luncheon on May 23, at 11:00 in the Banquet Hall. A graduation completion Mass will be held at 6:30 that evening. We wish our graduates the best of luck in all that they do!


Lunch Order Form

Due to the graduation luncheon, the cafeteria will be closed to students on Wednesday, August 23. The students will have a picnic style lunch. You may send a lunch from home, but a boxed lunch option will be available to students by pre-ordering only. Please see the order from attached. Orders and money are due back to the homeroom teacher by Thursday, May 17.


Used Uniform and Book Sale
Thursday, May 24, 2 - 6 

There will be a used uniform and book sale next Thursday 5/24 from 2-6 in the gym. Remember that only the items listed as part of the new uniform will be allowed to be worn next year. Students will be out of uniform on Thursday and Friday of next week.



Report Cards

4th quarter report cards will be posted in student portals beginning June 1. Report cards will not be mailed home. You may print your child's report card at home by accessing their eLocker in the parent portals. Students receiving quarterly academic awards will be recognized after a school one of our first school masses in August.


Summer Reading and Math Enrichment
June 11 - 15 

Our Summer Reading and Math Camp will be held on June 11-15. The deadline to register is May 18th.


Vacation Bible School 
June 18 - 22, 8:30 - Noon

Venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms. Each day at Shipwrecked VBS, kids travel through faith-building rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and imm
erse kids in new adventures.

Bible Verse of the Month

Our Bible verse focus for the month of May is :  Proverbs 3:6

"In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." 

Our prayer focus is the Hail Mary.
