City of Rancho Cordova Named Finalist for a 2019 All-America City Award!
The National Civic League announced that the City of Rancho Cordova is one of 20 communities chosen as a finalist for a 2019 All-America City Award (AAC), the nation's most prestigious community award, now in its 70th year. Raising Money for the Annual St. Baldrick's Event
City of Rancho Cordova City Council Members Donald Terry and Garrett Gatewood, the Rancho Cordova Police Department, and volunteers donated their time, money, and even hair during the annual St. Baldrick's event at Ol' Republic Brewery to raise over $9,000 in donations to fund research for childhood cancer. 

Riverview STEM Students Excel in Robotics Competition
Rancho Cordova students at Riverview STEM Academy competed in three tournaments in Davis, CA and came away winning two design awards and a sportsmanship award. The team was then invited to the state championship at Sierra College and placed 7th out of 11 teams. Learn more

Apply Now for Summer @ City Hall
The City of Rancho Cordova and Pro Youth and Families will launch Summer @ City Hall, a 5-week program for youth ages 13-18 living within the City of Rancho Cordova. Summer @ City Hall provides leadership and professional development, as well as civic engagement and local government education. The program runs from June 24 through August 2. Deadline Reminder: Graduating Seniors can Apply for a $1,000 Scholarship
The City of Rancho Cordova and Republic Services are teaming up to offer three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue college degrees in the fields of environmental science, engineering, or political science. Interested applicants have until April 15 to apply. Learn more

Douglas Road Update
Douglas Road, Chrysanthy Road and Rancho Cordova Parkway are now open to traffic. New traffic light signals are now at the intersections of Douglas Road at Rancho Cordova Parkway, and lane striping and electrical improvements have been made to the area. Learn more


 

Creek Week Is Here!

We are looking for volunteers to help clean waterways and local creeks on Saturday, April 13. This year, there are six clean-up sites, as well as a Creek Week Nature Walk and other activities planned. 


 

Free Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) can be a danger to humans, pets, and our environment. These waste materials cannot be disposed of in your regular garbage. Residents can drop off their HHW at several local locations at no cost. Learn more

What's Happening at The MACC?
The MACC is hosting the Rancho Cordova Student Art Exhibit April 11-13. The exhibit showcases the artwork of K-12 students and will include drawings, mixed media, painting, ceramics, metal art, and video arts.
