Thank You Nordstrom
For Funding JA Fellows!

Nordstrom Inc., the leading fashion specialty retailer in the U.S., was one of our biggest JA Fellows program supporters this past year! Thank you for your generous contribution and assuring our JA Fellows students experienced success in  the program.

As a JA Fellow, students develop the skills and knowledge that will set them apart when competing for scholarships, college acceptance, and eventually a spot in the global marketplace. This year, we had 21 student-run companies from schools across Broward and south Palm Beach Counties. Each team had 15-20 students working together to conceptualize, capitalize and manage their own small businesses. In April, the top 10 teams competed at the Annual Spark Tank Finale.
Founded in 1901 as a shoe store in Seattle, today Nordstrom operates 365  stores in 40 states, including 122 full-line stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico; 232 Nordstrom Rack stores; two Jeffrey boutiques; and two clearance stores. Additionally, customers are served online through Nordstrom.com, Nordstromrack.com and HauteLook. The company also owns Trunk Club, a personalized clothing service serving customers online at TrunkClub.com and its seven clubhouses.

Thank you to all of our JA Fellows Sponsors!
