Being intentional about the physical and emotional manner of your home makes a significant impact on children, teens and adults who have experienced trauma. Whether you are caring for youth in foster care or just want a more therapeutic living environment, we have identified three simple ways to make your home more trauma-informed.
A Young Community Champion

Lucas recently turned five years old. For his birthday, he asked friends to donate books for our students in lieu of gifts for himself. Lucas toured one of our campuses with his family, then presented the books to our Reading Buddies volunteers. It doesn’t matter your age, everyone can be a community champion!
Making a Difference

DeeDee Conrad has worked for us for more than 20 years as a youth behavioral health specialist. She has made an impact on just about every age group that we serve and her passion for hospitality make her an invaluable part of our team. Going Green

After a brutal winter, it’s finally gardening season! Swing by our Thyme For Kids Plant Sale on April 26-27 to get all of your starter vegetables, flowers, hanging plants and more. The youth in our horticulture therapy program have been hard at work getting everything ready. All proceeds go to directly support them and the program that they love.
