The Reciprocity Collaborative presents Hope in Exile. Weaved throughout the Qabbalat Shabbat experience, expressive choreography will be paired with the music of Jewish composers including Mieczysław Weinberg and Ernest Bloch, both exiled due to the Holocaust. Music direction by Daniel Kurganov; artistic direction by Ilya Vidrin. Ilya's family resettled in Boston from the Soviet Union with the help of the Temple Israel. He grew up here and feels deeply connected to our community. Read more.

Through ritual, song, and conversation we will retell the story of Passover over a potluck Seder meal. Rabbis Zecher, Jacobson, and Gubitz will lead the Seder. Temple Israel lay leaders have been working on a number of important changes to our bylaws. The changes will be voted on at our Annual Gathering on June 13. There will be two congregation-wide meetings to review proposed changes and provide your input. Check our
