This Friday at 6:00 p.m. Qabbalat Shabbat 
The Reciprocity Collaborative presents Hope in Exile. Weaved throughout the Qabbalat Shabbat experience, expressive choreography will be paired with the music of Jewish composers including Mieczysław Weinberg and Ernest Bloch, both exiled due to the Holocaust. Music direction by Daniel Kurganov; artistic direction by Ilya Vidrin. Ilya's family resettled in Boston from the Soviet Union with the help of the Temple Israel. He grew up here and feels deeply connected to our community. Read more.

We'll eat, celebrate the holiday, and enjoy a special musical program for young children with Wayne Potash. Annual Women's Seder
Tuesday, April 23 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.; $20 + potluck
Through ritual, song, and conversation we will retell the story of Passover over a potluck Seder meal. Rabbis Zecher, Jacobson, and Gubitz will lead the Seder. This year will be even more wonderful (and that's a pretty high bar). Please remember to bring a bottle of wine for your table to share. Yizkor Service
Thursday, April 25 at 6:15 p.m.
We dedicate our Yizkor service to the memory of family members and loved ones who have died, and we provide some time to share our memories amidst the music, prayers, and the company of our own community. Temple Israel lay leaders have been working on a number of important changes to our bylaws. The changes will be voted on at our Annual Gathering on June 13. There will be two congregation-wide meetings to review proposed changes and provide your input. Check our  leadership webpage for updated bylaws to be posted later this week. Can't make the meetings? Remembering the Holocaust: Stories from Across Generations

Help make Beacon Academy students feel confident and look beautiful at Spring Celebration, graduation, and as they transition to their independent schools. Beacon Academy is looking for:  young men's slacks and khakis, blazers, collared shirts, ties, and dress shoes, and young women's white graduation dresses/wear, event dresses/wear, dress shoes, and heels.
