In memoriam:
John F. "Jack" Atkinson
ASWB joins the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards in remembering John F. "Jack" Atkinson, who for many years was ASWB's attorney before passing the responsibility on to his son Dale. Jack founded FARB with the mission to advance excellence in regulation of the professions in the interest of public protection, and he served the regulatory community with integrity and passion. Jack and Dale worked together for many years both in FARB and in Atkinson & Atkinson, the law firm they founded. Jack was a longtime friend and resource for ASWB, and he will be missed. Read a tribute to John F. Atkinson on the FARB website.
