A MESSAGE FROM MRS. STALLMANN

Principal News Note by Adelyn Rugg

I was the principal of the day today.  The reason I got principal of the day is because I won Mrs. Stallmann’s raffle at Fun Fair. The first thing I did was morning announcements where I announced the lunch and birthdays and then ended my announcements with prayer and pledge.  The second thing I did was go to Mr. Kneifl for a social study review game. Then at 8:15 I went to Mrs. Boyle’s class for a locker inspection of the seventh graders to see if their lockers were clean or messy. They were all clean!
At 8:30 I played a guessing game with the 4k students which was a lot fun.  After that Mrs. Stallmann and I went to talk to the adults selling scrip and then we went to visit the kitchen and I got a free treat from al a cart! (It was a rice crispie treat).  At 9:00 I went in the K3 room during their free play. I helped with a puzzle and we played dress-up.

Then at 9:30 I had snack with Mrs. Uciechowski’s K4 class so I could eat with my brother, Weston.  At 9:45 we went out for recess duty but I also got to play four square with my friends. And then we went to the parish office to collect and deliver mail.  Mrs. Stallmann and I did a walk-through the classrooms and when I walked into Mrs. Ramion’s room I got a birthday treat. At 10:45 I went into Mrs. Heinzman’s K4 class to play with their prayer buddies.  After that I went outside for recess duty and I walked around watching the students but I also got to play more four square.

For lunch I got to take a friend and we sat in the teacher’s lounge with Mrs. Stallmann and other teachers.  After lunch I went into the 2nd grade room and talked with the students about my experience receiving my First Eucharist and then they asked me questions about how I got to be principal for the day.  I ended my day in the K5 classroom by helping the students with their daily work. If I had to describe my day in one word, it would be AWESOME!

Have a great weekend.

Third grade Quinn E., and the rest of his Level 6 gymnastics team at Swiss Turners Gymnastics won the state championship this week in Racine.
