Please join us in this exciting event - enjoy a day in the park with family and friends. The association will arrange the food, drinks and snacks. Feel free to bring sporting goods (Basketball, Volley Ball, Soccer Ball, Cricket Ball and Bats, Frisbees and Kites etc.). 

Election for various posts of AMUAA-CA will also be held on the day of the picnic. All current paid members will be able to participate in the election according to the bylaws of the association. Please join AMUAA today. Membership details are available on the AMUAA website. 
 
 
Activities
Park activities include Hiking, biking, and volley ball.  
  
Please come prepared for some hiking, bring toys of interest for kids; large area is available for biking and kite flying etc. Children play area is also available. Cricket could be an option for some who are determined to make that the sport of choice.

Please bring mats, sheets, chairs (if you need one) and sun screen. 
  
As always, AMUAAs events are open to every one, so please feel free to invite your friends.

AMU Alumni Association of northern California consisting of the alumni of Aligarh Muslim University and its friends and supporters of the Aligarh movement was founded in 1996 as a secular, non-partisan, non-political organization serving the Educational, Social, Literary and Cultural needs of the Community. It aims to keep alive Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's dream of ensuring equality for all and particularly the underprivileged through education, by supporting AMU and its students in their academic efforts, and by organizing events to highlight AMU's role in creating a modern India.
