Welcome Spring!
I love spring!
I love the smells, the colors
and I especially love the vibe;
people are happier with the idea of summer vacations,
playing in the pool and backyard barbecues!
But without winter, spring just wouldn't be so pleasant!

Winter is a time of hibernation and metaphorically it represents a time of darkness and difficulty. Without the darkness we cannot appreciate the light, without the climb we cannot see the view, or what about without the mistake we cannot learn the lesson?
The truth is, without the negative in our lives it's more difficult to appreciate the positive. Here are a few of my favorite quotes about overcoming the negative; I hope they'll inspire you as much as they have inspired me.
1. Never give up on something you want. It's difficult to wait but it's more difficult to regret -
The climb to the top of the mountain is achieved one step at a time. The view from the top is almost always worth the effort! Before you give up on something, remember why you started!

Flowers do not bloom without a little rain. Everything has its purpose, even pain

As much as we might wish it wasn't so, the truth is all struggles eventually end and pain begins to go away. It's what we do at the end of the struggle that makes a difference. Do we grow and become better, letting the struggle become a stepping stone? Or do we slip and fall again, letting the struggle become a stumbling block? The beauty is, we get to decide, we get to make the choice!
3. Stars can't shine without the darkness -
It's a fact we live with that after the darkness of night the light of day returns. After the clouds of rain, sunshine returns. It's the way the universe works, no winter lasts forever and no spring skips it's return.
4 Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than before -
What hurts you can heal you. Our mistakes, though painful, can help us to become a better version of ourselves. If you want to grow you have to get over your fear of doing something wrong. You don't learn by doing everything right!
5. It's a mistake if you learn from it, it's a problem if you don't -
Mistakes are only bad if you don't learn from them. If you keep repeating a mistake, it's no longer a mistake, it's just a bad choice, and it's a problem! Turn it around - Get up, move forward, and forgive yourself. Excuses and results you can't have both.
6. Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes -
With experience comes learning. All learning requires failure at some point. Failure is only an opportunity to begin again and mistakes are proof that we are trying.
Enjoy your spring, I hope that wherever you are that you'll benefit from the beauty that Mother Nature gives us in spring.
