We went bush whacking some today. Funny how trails that were easily passible this spring are now overgrown. We did our part as mammals by dispersing seeds. Some even made it home with me at the end of the day. Shorebird migration will soon be upon us.

The snowy egrets are staring their return migration and will be gracing us with their presence for the next few weeks. Our second look at this bird was fun to watch because of it was actively feeding. It alternated between slow stalking and running after prey. Watch my giggly video to see this bird in action.
