Giving Tuesday is a global day of donations demonstrating the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and this year on Nov. 27, the charitable initiative begins when many focus on holiday and end-of-year giving.
As a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Art with a Heart in Healthcare
relies on the generosity of public and private foundations as well as individual donors to fund our programs.
Casey Andeer's daughter, Rue, has been fighting leukemia since the age of 2. Casey credits Art with a Heart in Healthcare with helping her daughter cope with the illness.
For our 2018 End of Year Fundraising Campaign it is our goal to raise $20,000 to provide a dedicated artist-in-residence for pediatric chemotherapy and hemodialysis infusion clinic 3 days per week so kids like Rue can have opportunities to express themselves creatively.
