DO NO HARM is a documentary made by director Robyn Symon about the recent epidemic of suicides affecting the medical profession.   This scheduled showing is open at no cost to all physicians; space is limited and RSVP is required to ensure seating and adequate refreshments. A panel discussion with experts in the industry will follow the showing.

Doctors have the highest suicide rate among all professions - almost twice the rate of the general population - and more than 50 percent of physicians report feeling burned out. Organizations and individuals are taking action to raise awareness of this disturbing trend and work to reverse it. Continuing our work in physician well-being, the Colorado Medical Society has joined the CPMG Wellness Committee and the metro-Denver component medical societies of CMS to host a special movie showing for a new documentary about physician suicide and burnout.

"Doctors are our healers, yet they have the highest rate of suicide among any profession. Medical students and families of physicians touched by suicide come out of the shadows to expose this silent epidemic and the truth about a sick healthcare system that not only drives our brilliant young doctors to take their own lives but puts patients' lives at risk too."                                - Robyn Symon
