TEXPERS' 2021 Annual Conference and
Training Set for May 21-26
After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, the Texas Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems' Board decided to postpone its annual trustee training and conference to May 21-26.

The location at the Austin Marriott Downtown, 304 E. Cesar Chavez St. in
Austin, has not changed.

"Initially set for March, rescheduling the event will enable us to provide the experience that our members, partners, and speakers expect and deserve in a safe environment," says Art Alfaro, executive director of TEXPERS. "The postponement also allows more time for the pandemic to subside and for pension systems and our member advisory, consultancy, and vendor firms to loosen travel restrictions."

Rooms become available on Friday, May 21 for those signed up to take trustee and administrator training classes on Saturday, May 22. The Annual Conference takes place Sunday, May 23 through Wednesday, May 26.

The association's staff remain excited to host you in 2021 and will update information in the coming months. Registration is not open at this time; however, we will provide updates through our website and social media channels when registration is available.

For those who registered for this year's canceled event, your registration is automatically applied to the 2021 event, unless you contacted us requesting a refund.

Please take a moment to let us know if you have any questions regarding your registration here. Your voice matters, and we care about your feedback.

"We look forward to hosting you in May," Alfaro says. "Until then, stay safe and healthy."
