LMVSC | COACHING EDUCATION
On Tuesday, February 13, LMVSC hosted a Coaching Education Clinic, which featured Georgetown University Men's Head Coach, Brian Wiese.

With over 35 members of our coaching staff in attendance, Coach Wiese conducted a training session with members of our 2003 & 2004 Boys Red teams.  The amount of information that Coach Wiese shared with our staff was priceless, as the GU coach spoke about Speed of Play and his implementation during each training session.  The LMVSC Staff is thankful for Coach Wiese, his time and generosity in sharing his philosophy, vision and knowledge with our staff!

2009 Boys Red - 2018 USFF Regional Champions

Upon being crowned VYSA Futsal State Champions on January 27, 2018, our 2009 Boys Red team automatically received an invitation to the US Futsal Northeast Regional Championships in Atlantic City, NJ.  The tournament was held in February over President's Day Weekend.

En route to capturing the Club's 1st Futsal Regional Championship, the 2009 Boys were able to string together a 5 game win streak.  During the group stage, our boys finished with 19 GF & 8 GA.  The final match was played in front of several hundred spectators and proved to be an exciting and extremely competitve match, with our boys breaking the tie in the final seconds.

Congratulations to Coach Tupy and the 2009 Boys Red team!!  We are extremely proud of you and know you will continue to represent the Club well.

Next up for the boys...a trip to San Jose, CA for the USFF National Championships in July 2018.  The team has already started planning for the trip and have embarked on fundraising for this once in a lifetime opportunity.  If able, please visit their site by clicking any of the pictures OR the donate button below.
