Based on feedback from users as well as our ongoing efforts to make improvements, following are some recent updates to wwww.needymeds.org that we want to make sure you are aware of as NeedyMeds Volunteer Ambassadors.
Coupons, Rebates & More - This database has information on 1,775 coupons and rebates offered on 1,767 drugs. Since the results generated from a search can be so extensive, we reformatted the listings with bullet points to make it easier to read, added links to manufacturer's websites and included options for users to print, email or even text the offer when available to themselves or a loved one. You will even find a convenient link to print, email or text our drug discount card. Check out an example

Drug Pricing Calculator - We received feedback from our users that the original Drug Pricing Calculator was a bit cumbersome. We did our best to update this tool to make it much simpler and straightforward.

Diagnosis Information Pages- These pages offer detailed information about specific diagnoses, reputable educational links, and a list of meds that are commonly prescribed so users can easily search for prescription assistance programs. We have just updated these pages to also include diagnosis based assistance programs, camps, retreats or scholarships for someone living with a particular diagnosis and a link if a webinar on the diagnosis is upcoming. These pages are a great destination for the newly diagnosed!
Support Pages-When searching for a prescription assistance program, diagnosis based assistance program or coupon for a specific drug on the NeedyMeds website, you will often also be presented with educational information about the drug. Support Pages are a great example of such information that is available. These pages have been updated to now offer a link to the product website, product safety information, medication guides and prescribing information in a more organized way. Worth checking out this example to see what I'm referring to.
