MSW Students Practice Placement in Kenya
This picture was taken at Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) in Nairobi, Kenya. The MSW students pictured here practiced field placements with agencies in Embu, Kenya. Sr. Kevin was their task supervisor for the project. Lloyd Lyter was in Kenya lecturing at Catholic University of Eastern Africa to BSW, MSW, and PhD classes. The group left the U.S. on May 29 and returned on June 26. The students did presentations to faculty, students, and staff at CUEA on Friday June 22, before coming back to the US. This project was funded by the Schierling Foundation through a grant to the School of Social Work at Marywood University. Way to go social work students!
