April 2019

CHA Residents,

Thank you Cow Hollow residents, you did a great job with your calls and emails to the Supervisors.  The City's Governance Committee voted to advance the  Resolution for San Francisco to Oppose SB 50 unless amended to the full Board for a vote Tuesday, April 9th.  There are no comments allowed from the public at the full board, but you can still attend or watch on your TV/Computer.

Supervisor Stefani Town Hall

Prior to the full Board vote on Tuesday, District 2 Supervisor Stefani will be holding a Town Hall to hear from her constituents on SB 50.  Here is the content of the email the Supervisor sent to the District:

"I have heard from many residents regarding the More Homes Act (SB 50), a bill currently pending in the State Legislature. The housing crisis in California has prompted a number of proposals across the state to increase the housing stock. I have heard thoughts from members of our community on both sides of this legislation. Most everyone agrees that we have a housing affordability crisis, but many also have serious concerns about the significant impacts SB 50 may have on our community.

I also want to hear from you. That is why I am hosting a forum on SB 50 this Sunday. There will be a presentation on what the legislation does, how it impacts our community, and then we will have time for questions and comments. The details are as follow:

I look forward to having a productive neighborhood conversation about how this legislation will impact our neighborhoods and our city. I hope to see you there!"

Warm Regards,

Supervisor Catherine Stefani
